Kensington Contemporary

For our project in Kensington, our clients wanted to eliminate an expanse of asphalt driveway and create a new gathering space and pedestrian focused entry courtyard that suits their revamped ranch style house. We worked to include existing fruit trees, preserve bay views and carve garden space out of what was previously lawn and asphalt. The backyard needed an update to complement the new accordion door and beautiful interior renovation by Spinagu architects of LA. New low concrete walls, paths, planters and simple paving create much needed balance, proportion and screening.
