Portland Mid Century Ranch
This project for dear friends in Portland brought simple, pared-down geometry into an eclectic landscape, providing structure and circulation to the large Maywood Park yard. With a tight budget we designed patios, deck, bench, fences, gates, foundation planting areas, an entry walk, raised beds and relocated an existing shed to a tucked away corner to create an interesting focal point. The result is a vast expanse of green framing the huge birch tree, and a sense of escape and enclosure.
